K0JM is a new call from March 2018. For nearly 20 years previous, I was licensed as K0MDJ.
I am a recently retired professor of communication studies at a "liberal arts college" (small university) in northeastern Iowa, and now reside in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am a life member of ARRL and AMSAT and enjoy both HF and satellite DX. I hold DXCC Satellite certificate number 166, and am a member of the Minnesota Wireless Association and the Twin Cities DX Association.
After living in Cedar Falls, Iowa for 26 years, I took a one year work assignment in Nottingham, UK during 2011-12 and operated there as MØGZO. From fall of 2012 until spring of 2017 my QTH was Decorah, in the extreme northeast corner of Iowa. I also operated in Malta as 9H3DJ from February to June of 2016 while on another work assignment.
