I was born in Liverpool  IN 1950 and stayed there till i was 27 then moved to the wirral for my work,I am married to Norma and we have 2 children & 4 grandchildren. I didn't get interested in radio till i was 38 years old and that was on cb i then studied the RAE and passed that in 1998 and then passed the 12wpm morse I am a member of the Wirral Amateur Radio Society (g3nwr)

My toys are Icom 7300,TS870,TS450s and IC706G mk2 i have a Yaesu FL2100B amplifier my antennas are MA5B plus a 5 band home made moxon square (under reconstruction due to storm damage) a western HF10  traped wire dipole  for HF & a Watson 300 for 2m & 70cm these are about 30ft above the ground. i also enjoy course fishing & air rifle target shooting well thats all from me hope to hear you on the bands  Please qsl ONLY VIA EQSL or DIRECT i am not a member of the bureau
