Most of my time is spent chasing FT8 DX or activating parks for POTA with FT8.

I'm also very interested in software-defined radio (SDR), mostly for RX (like weather satellite imagery or understanding how RF devices work).

For FT8 and POTA I use an ICOM IC-705, often with a Chameleon Tactical Delta Loop antenna or vertical from the same kit.

For SDR I use a USRP B205mini-i.

I live full-time on an RV; my home base is Seattle but on any given day I will likely be somewhere else in the US!

When I'm not on the radio I'm either working as CTO of a healthcare software company, spending too much time on my many side projects, or enjoying nature.

I've been a software developer for 20+ years at this point with lots of experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Golang, and C#. Since spending more time in radio I've started work on some radio-related software projects.
