Malcolm "Mac" E. Mayercik, 64, of High Bridge, NJ, died Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born April 30, 1943 in Newark, he was a son of the late Emil and Alvina Zrelak Mayercik. He had lived in Parsippany before moving to High Bridge in 1972.

From "Some High Bridge History" by Adam Young:
... “The High Bridge CD Truck”, it was dispatched to Hunterdon Medical Center during the Blizzard of 1978 to transport doctors and nursing staff to and from the hospital, as well as to homebound patients when conventional emergency equipment could not navigate the conditions. As with the photo above, Mac Mayercik drove the truck while Victor Mirota rode passenger and handled communications with the Hunterdon County Dispatch Center.
Both men were Amateur Radio operators, and Mayercik was the group’s radio/communications coordinator at that time (Mayercik went on to serve as CD Director briefly in the 1980s as well).
