JOTA -- Jamboree on the air
The JOTA is an annual event in which Scouts and Guides all over the world speak to
each other by means of amateur radio contacts. Scouting experiences are exchanged
and ideas are shared, via the radio waves. The JOTA take place every year at the
third full weekend of October (19 to 21 October 2018; 18 to 20 October 2019;
16 to 18 October 2020).

JOTA 2021
The 64th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 16 and 17 October 2021.
HB9EVT visited the Natonal JOTA-JOTI team of Scouting Netherland
and participated at the Dutch JOTA Headquarter station PA6JAM/J
at the Rotterdam Scout Center (Locator JO21GW).

JOTA 2020
The 63th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 17 and 18 October 2020.
HB9EVT managed again the JOTA-Station for the BSA Boy Scout Troop 681 Basel.
This year we were located in a building of the International School Basel in Aesch BL (Locator JN37TL).

JOTA 2019
The 62th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 19 and 20 October 2019.
HB9EVT managed again the JOTA-Station for the BSA Boy Scout Troop 681 Basel
at the Club-Station of HB9NFB in Reinach BL (Locator JN37TL).

JOTA 2018
The 61th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 20 and 21 October 2018.
HB9EVT managed the JOTA-Station for the BSA Boy Scout Troop 681 Basel
at the Club-Station of HB9NFB in Reinach BL (Locator JN37TL).

NAWAKA 2018 (National Water Camp of Scouting Netherlands)
In August 2018 HB9EVT participated at the JOTA-Station in NAWAKA 2018.
NAWAKA stands for "Nationaal Water Kamp" and is the national summer camp
of the sea scouts in the Netherlands.
QTH: Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde (Locator JO22SG).

JOTA 2017
The 60th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 21 and 22 October 2017.
HB9EVT participated as individual Rover Scout. I was at the Club-Station of
HB9NFB in Reinach BL (Locator JN37TL).

JOTA 2016
The 59th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 15 and 16 October 2016.
HB9EVT was staff at the JOTA-Station of Pfadi Region Basel (= Scouts of Basel area)
at the Club-Station of HB9NFB in Reinach BL (Locator JN37TL).

RELA Winti 2016 (Pfadi-Regionallager Winterthur)
In summer 2016 a regional scout camp took place in the central part of Switerland
with 800 scouts from the Winterthur area. The camp was in Sursee nr Lucerne,
Switzerland (Locator: JN47BE). HB9EVT was staff at the Camp-JOTA-Station.

JOTA 2015
The 58th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 17 and 18 October 2015.
HB9EVT was staff at the JOTA-Station of Pfadi Region Basel (= Scouts of Basel area).
(Locator of the JOTA-Station was JN37TM).

JOTA 2014
The 57th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 18 and 19 October 2014.
HB9EVT participated from Basel (Locator: JN37TM), in the north west of Switzerland.

JOTA 2013
The 56th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 19 and 20 October 2013.
HB9EVT managed with HB3YDD the JOTA-Station of the Swiss Scout Troop
"Pfadi St. Luzius" from Walenstadt. The QTH was their scout  hut in Walenstadt
(Locator: JN47PC), in the south east of Switzerland.

JOTA 2012
The 55th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 20 and 21 October 2012.
HB9EVT worked at the JOTA-Station of the german scout troop "Unterkirnach VCP"
with QTH Unterkirnach, Germany (Locator: JN48EB).

Pfadi-Kantonallager St.Gallen-Appenzell 2012
In summer 2012 a regional scout jamboree took place in the north-eastern
part of Switerland with 2500 participants with QTH Zuckerried nr St.Gallen,
Switzerland (Locator: JN47NL). There we - a group of swiss radio scouts -
managed a Camp-JOTA-Station and made contacts to scouts all over the world.

JOTA 2011
The 54th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 15 and 16 October 2011.
HB9EVT managed the JOTA-Station with QTH Bülach nr Zurich, Switzerland
(Locator: JN47GM).

JOTA 2010
The 53rd Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) took place on 16 and 17 October 2010.
HB9EVT managed the JOTA-Station for ScoutNet Schweiz
with QTH Winterthur nr Zurich, Switzerland (Locator: JN47IM)
