About me
- Novice license in 2021 (as DO5GC), "full" license in 2022,
- QRV every now and then via DMR/Brandmeister,
- happily receiving QSL-cards, especially if handwritten :),
QTH
As I operate nearly equally from three different locations all in vicinity of the Rhine-Main-Area, I chose to mention just the area. Feel free to ask for details in a qso.
Interests
- Decoding satellite data
- CW and SSB
- DIY-Antennas, kit-soldering trxs (QCX 40, QMX 80-20)
- SOTA/GMA
- Hiking, biking and running
- a bit of ARDF
- not afraid of old and new programming languages and legacy code
- caring about my environmental impact
The trainee-callsign DN5CE got assigned to me. Education and getting young(er) people on-air – or at least interested ;) – is of value for me.
Every now and then you may also hear me operating DL0DPM - the clubstation in the museum of communications in Frankfurt/Main. But the priority and most of the time I spend there, I'll answer questions of visitors on (amateur) radio and not have a hand/ear/word on-air.
SOTA Activity
Since February 2026 I'm Regional Manager for DM/HE (Hesse, Germany), which I took over from Gerhard DL4TO. Feel free to contact me for questions regarding SOTA in this region. There are 67 references in DM/HE, ranging from 360m to 950m altitude.
Most of the time, I'll do my SOTA logging on paper – please excuse if I don't have your name at hand.

DJ3CE history
The callsign DJ3CE was previously assigned to OM Georg. He was one of the founders of DOK P03. If you have further information (QSL cards, etc), I'd be happy if you get in contact with me.
