HamQTH has a new website. It was rewritten from scratch, keeps everything you are used to and adds a lot more:

• a new design, readable on phones and tablets too, in all 18 languages
• all your settings in one place, with a switcher between the callsigns you manage and an editor for every part of the profile
• a new editor for the header picture of your profile (ready-made layouts, a photo library, a free canvas) and for the About me text, with image upload
• a new DX cluster with live DX and RBN spots, filters saved to your account, new countries, bands and modes highlighted from your uploaded log, a search in the spot archive and sending your own spots
• log upload accepts zip, 7z, rar and gz archives, shows the history of your uploads, keeps a backup you can download, warns about problems in the ADIF file and e-mails you the result; the uploaded log is shown right on your profile
• you can contact a station or report wrong data straight from its profile
• the API and everything logging programs use work exactly as before, the new web just handles a lot more traffic

If something does not work as it should, please let me know through the contact form. Thank you!

• today Steve, AI4QR sent me that HamQTH one year anniversary was mentioned in the "What's New" column in this month's CQ magazine!

• added solar data information

Please look at this: One of the reasons that the XML data is by subscription only is because if it were in the open, hacker sites like HamQTH.com and QRZCQ.COM would simply attach to it and display it as their own, complete with advertising. The two sites I just mentioned are already doing this and so if you decide to get your data from them, just know that it was STOLEN from QRZ. As Rick mentioned, we don't own the Data per-se, but we do own the Compilation which includes a great deal of information that the FCC has never heard of, let alone supplies in their cryptic daily dumps. When the hacker sites steal our data, however, they steal all of it, not just the FCC info. Author AA7BQ, Source: http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?351847-New-Release-Ham-Radio-Deluxe-v5-23%2Fpage5 We are hacker site? I never used any data any (address) stolen from QRZ.com! I imported only addresses from databases provided by users and/or widely available over the internet! As a revenge, QRZ.COM deleted my whole profile a while after HamQTH went online and my callsign can not be added anymore. Do you know how hard is to find related info outside QRZ? This makes me very sad. HAMQTH IS NOT A HACKER SITE! Now QRZ.COM is not only site providing callbook data and its owner can't accept this fact! It's interesting that (as AA7CQ says) because of HamQTH activity, the XML search at QRZ.COM won't be free anymore. This is not true, it was not free even before HamQTH went online! So Fred, please stop writing this nonsense. THANK YOU! We have here only a few text adds from Google Adsense. If I earn some money with it, I use it to pay for server where HamQTH is located. HamQTH site runs without blinking banners or another annying ads. We can exists only if users will support us providing their callsign details. Please support us. We need that.
