     I use he/him pronouns, and am committed to doing whatever I can to make sure ham radio is accepting of, and available to, everyone, because while RF doesn't discriminate, the unfortuante truth is that many individuals and clubs do.

I've been a ham for just a few years - I passed both my technician and general on April 13 of 2014, and got on the air in May of 2014.  I then passed my extra exam on February 7th, 2015.   My biggest project right now is my ever-on-going shack build (along with all the other started but not finished stuff we pick up along the way...) If you're curious about my projects check out my blog for more details.

Radio Rocket

I've been doing some projects with the kids around model rocketry. Of course, in the rockets I've been building, I've started sticking some radio stuff - mostly APRS and 70cm LoRa.  We've done several iterations, and are now expermenting with our third version of the rocket.

Subversive Radio Merch Shop

I run a very small merch shop, to raise money for various projects. Currently I'm using the shop proceeds to benefit the r4e project that I have ongoing.

r4e - Repeaters 4 Everbody

As a way to support upgrades on my repeater and some additional repeaters that are operated with a purposeful mission of openness and acceptance, and to help bulk up the RF side of the Pride Radio Network, I’ve started the r4e project. If you’re willing to help support some repeaters financially, or with donations of equipment, or to just connect an existing repeater to the pride network, those gifts and actions can go a long way towards our roadmap!

ARIP: Amateur Radio Inclusivity Pledge

The Amateur Radio Inclusivity Pledge is a tool for amateur radio organizations to show their visible commitment to diversity and inclusion in the hobby.

If we want the hobby to grow, we need to make sure we are including everyone, and make it available for everyone. There are endless examples of discrimination that have taken place in the hobby, and ARIP hopes to help change that.
