Hello and thank you for stopping by my page.
I have been a ham for over 40 years. My first call was KA1LSO followed by KC1FF. Now living in Florida, I changed the call to WA4FL.
Married to my great wife of 48 years. Retired Firefighter/Paramedic & Retired Funeral Director/Embalmer.
I go up to New Hampshire in the spring and return to Florida in the fall.
You will find me usually on 20 and 40 meters SSB. I’m a big fan of QRP and love CW but with my age it gets harder for me to copy. Spending more time with POTA with activations in both NH and Florida.
My portable ham station consists of the Yaesu FT 991A along with the buddipole and the pactenna efhw, several bioenno batteries and a fiberglass mast. Works well for me and I'm up and running in 15 minutes or so.
Another area of interest, is my concern for our veterans graves. To learn more please visit my website, HONORING OUR FALLEN VETERANS. Just go to the logo above and click on it to learn more. Everyone can help.
I upload my logs directly to QRZ and Club Log. I will be using LoTW SOON.
I enjoy receiving unique QSL cards. No need for SASE.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, If you are a QRZ Member PLEASE acknowledge and confirm on my log. All QRZ confirmations will receive a QSL card like the one shown above.
NO QSL via BURO or via EQSL = I won't know, SO NO QSL RETURNED !
Thanks for the look, hope to hear you on the bands.
