I am member of the DARC, OV Gütersloh (DOK N47).
QSL
I like to send and to receive QSL cards. And I mean real cards made out of cardboard.
The exchange via bureau is preferred; however, I do also direct exchange if that is the only possible way.
About my Station
Three years after I got my license, I finally bought my first transceiver, a FT-991A. As a first, simple antenna I installed a 10 m fibre glass mast carrying a vertical wire, along with a smarttuner and a radial. However, my pleasure with this antenna was, eh, limited. Obviously at my QTH close to the inner-city, the ether is governed by switching power supplies and LED illumination. Hence, I decided to build a small, portable antenna. The result of some calculating and constructing is a short ground plane antenna, only two metres high. The load coil in the middle of the antenna rod can be changed for different bands. Right now, I have prepared coils for 40 m, 20 m, 15 m, and 10 m. An image of the antenna can be marveled at somewhere on this page. Of course, the efficiency of such a small antenna is not the best, so if you hear me on the bands, I am certainly not the loudest station.
