DO1VV

Welcome to my site,

my name is Pat and I had my first QSO launched in 1990 at 27 MHz. My first DX QSO was in 1994 with the United Kingdom with 5 and 9. Since I had great fun on DXing found and have lots of countries processed. Including Denmark, Norway , Finland, Spain , France, Italy, Poland , Malta, West Gambia and Austria . That was not enough for me and I had been looking really happy that I was able to work more than 10 stations in the U.S. and Canada last year. This was the reason that since April 8, 2014 I am a radio amateur now.
Because my English is not very good, but I hope that I will have lots of QSOs on the shortwave bands. Based on my license, I can only work the following bands: 160m, 80m, 15m and 10m with max 100 watts pep.

I use the following equipment:

My shortwave transceiver:
- Icom IC-7300

My microphone:
- Rhode Studiomicrofone with W2IHY 8 Band Audio Equalizer and Noise Gate

My antenna:

- Sirio Blizzard 2700 vertical (all my QSOs in over 70 countries have been taken with this antenna)

I thank you that you looked at my information and I hope we will meet some time on one of the shortwave bands for a nice QSO.
