G0WFS

Started out in radio in the mid 1970s as SWL (shortwave listener).
First transmission was in 1978 on 27 Mhz am CB (Citizen Band Radio).

Became a licensed radio amateur 15 years later in January of 1994.
Attained City & Guilds Radio Amateurs Exam (credit) / 12wpm CW.

Rarely active now on the amateur bands using traditional methods.
Combination of high noise and the different (changed) hf environment.

Operate instead using analog based voice over IP modes instead.
That means I am no longer a radio amateur. Just pretending ;-D

And no... Not on that other qrz site? More than happy here. Thanks.
