Hi.

The Name is Matt.

I am a retired engineer, (Toolroom Miller,Setter, lathe and cylindrical grinder operator) using Diamond Tooling, working mainly with H.P.S.N and R.B.S.N we were the early pioneers in machining these Materials. Later we had a small engineering Company in Blyth Northumberland my position was Production Director.

Earlier in life i worked in agriculture and forestry the engineering only in the last 25 Years.

My Radio is a Yaesu FT-450, Antenna at the minute a vertical Sirio Gainmaster for 10 11 and 12 Meters. For VHF/UHF an X-200 dual band vertical.

I also use a QYT KT-8900D Quad Band Mobile set in the shack and a Misuta  UV82 dual-band handheld for mobile and portable use.

I have a Radioditty GD77 and a Retevis RT82 for DMR Digital use through a SharkRF Openspot.

I am a Motorcyclist i.e. never took my car test so i drive a Reliant Rialto A.K.A. ( Plasticpig ) which is a Tricycle

and rode a 1993 Yamaha Diversion 600cc now retired from riding just the Rialto.

Married with 5 grown up children and 69 this year 2018
