Thanks for QSO!

I'm not a Ham for a long time. Since march 2014 I have my Full Licence (HAREC). I'm still learning and enjoying this great hobby!

I'm using an Icom IC-7100, Icom ID-51, Diamond X30N (2m/70cm), PKW Bazooka (80m-10m), Shakespeare 4061 (made for 11m) but works (20m-10m),  homebrew QST Skeleton antenna (6m/4m & 2m/70cm). On holiday's I use a HyEndFed 21.2Mhz 15m  (with a tuner it works 80m-10m) and a Diamond X510N (2m/70cm). Mobile antennas used as base antennas Diamond MR77 & Superbat NN-N2RS (2m/70cm both) and Wilson Little Wil (11m). For shortwave listening I use an Icom IC-R6 and RTL-SDR 820T2 with a Magnum 2000 mobile antenna.

Just discovering digital modes with software like Ham Radio Deluxe, DXlabs, N1MM, WSJT, JTDX and JT-alertX. I want to be a modern Ham using online services like LoTW, eQSL (AG), HRDLOG.net (iQSL), Clublog.org, PSKreporter, HamSpots.net, QRZ.com API & XML (Subscriber), HamQTH.com, HAMlog.eu, HamCall.net, Echolink on Mac, iPad and iPhone, D-Star configured, Teamspeak, Mattermost, APRS on iPhone, etc. Suggestions to get more online? Send me an email.

In July 2015 I moved to an apartment on the ninth floor of a ten floor building. The building is made of reinforced concrete and works like a Faraday cage. It has no balcony, no external antennas allowed, so it’s a challenge being a HAM here, but I manage. Due to the height VHF and UHF works like a breeze. Unfortunately, HF is difficult because there is no proper RF-ground and the length of an indoor antenna is limited. I use an artificial ground MFJ-931 for the PKW Bazooka 80m-10m antenna. The other antennas don’t need a ground. Mobile antenna's are placed on metal. To get an acceptable SWR I use an automatic antenna tuner MFJ-993B (80m-10m), a manual antenna tuner MFJ-906 (6m-4m) and a manual antenna tuner MFJ-921(2m). Avoiding RFI I only use JT65, JT9 and FT8 modes at the moment.
