I am Ar. A.A. Sarma (AP Sarma), an Architect, Town Planner, Interior Designer, and Valuer based in Hyderabad,Telangana, India, with over 26 years of professional experience in Town planning, design, valuation, and project management. Through my firm, Habitat Architects & Planners, I have been involved in a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, institutional, healthcare, and interior design developments.

Beyond my professional practice, I have a strong interest in documentation, research, disaster resilience, and community-oriented initiatives. I believe in leveraging technology, innovation, and knowledge-sharing to create sustainable and resilient environments.

Amateur Radio is one of my most passionate pursuits. Operating under the callsign VU3YXX, I am actively involved in the Hyderabad amateur radio community and regularly participate in local VHF/UHF nets, including activities on the Hyderabad LHR Repeater Network. My current station includes a Baofeng UV-13 Pro handheld Dual Band  transceiver, and I actively explore various communication platforms such as EchoLink, Peanut, DMR, HamSphere, SDR, SSTV, and satellite communications.

As a member of LARC - Lamakaan Amateur Radio Club and supporter of Amateur Radio activities, including those promoted by the National Institute of Amateur Radio (NIAR), Hyderabad, I am particularly interested in emergency communications, antenna experimentation, economical HF station development, digital modes, and innovative applications of radio technology. My Amateur Radio journey is driven by curiosity, continuous learning, technical experimentation, and the desire to connect with fellow radio enthusiasts around the world.

Whether in architecture or amateur radio, I remain committed to lifelong learning, innovation, public service, and contributing positively to society through knowledge, communication, and collaboration.  9848198730
