 CROATIAN QRP PORTABLE

My setup:

- working portable /p

I'm living close to Zagreb mountain called Sljeme (actualy that is the name of mountain top (meaning "Top of the mountain").
Official mountain name is Medvednica (or "Place where bears live") , but nobody is using it in everyday speech.
So whenever weather is fine, I go to one of two hills up my house and spend 3-4 hours listening and trying to make contact.

- QRP 1.5 - 2,5 W (depending on battery status)

- TRX1: LNR Precision 3bander MTR3B (40/30/20 m), CW only https://www.lnrprecision.com/store/MTR3B-Mountain-Topper-p45010523

- TRX2: Youkits HB1-A 3bander (40/30/20m), CW TX/RX, SSB RX

- ANT: End-fed lambda/2 (LNR Precision EFT-10/20/40 "Trail Friendly") , set as L-inverted)

I took my ham exam almost 30 years ago (in ex-YU), and finally decided in Apr 2017 to nostrify to CRO ham certificate, buy small qrp station, and get my callsign 9A5MPV.

I was setting my portable station for almost a year, and finally get on-air Apr 2018.

I can copy well (same as bycicle riding, you cant forget it, no matter when was last time you ride it) at moderate speed, but still need to do practicing. laugh
