Interested in almost everything around weak signal operation and in building antennas. Also very interested in technical experiments regardless of whether digital or analog, whether SDR or classic radio hardware.

In our club (DOK E13 Hamburg-Alstertal) we yearly prepare 10 people in average (up to 18) for the highest german amateur radio Class (A) in our training course and we teach CW to whom is interested in. Having our club station (DL0AT) in a public school building helps promoting amateur radio in it's technical and social aspects to young students.

April 2024:
Getting the main mast up is becoming more complicated, so I went for a smaller one with a Diamond X200 and an LNA on it to get QRV on V/UHF at all.

February 2024:
Finally after 17 months I'm back QRV on HF. The next step: get the mast up for VHF/UHF/SHF

I've moved away from Hamburg, abt. 110 km exactly to the north, from JO43XQ to JO44XQ, having no shack/antennas at the new QTH yet.
