Hi!

My name is Alberto, im a Ham Operator since August 2023. My main radio interest is in the HF bands. I mainly work from 40m to 10m, in SSB, but I also like to make contacts in RTTY or PSK from time to time.

My favourite way to make radio is in the outside, where the radio noise is very low, and I'm surrounded by pretty landscapes, the sun in the sky and the wind in my head, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends! I love activating awards, usually spanish ones (DME, DVGE, DEE, DCE, DEFE and DMVE), but I also have interest in POTA and SOTA activations. I also try to collect DX contacts, and I try  to transmit with special callsings whenever I can.

I managed to get all the equipment necesary for a decent radio activation fitting in a single rugged shopping cart, which I usually take to the desired destination by bike, but it also can be transported in a car. As I live near the coast, my favourite places to transmit are near the sea, usually in the beach.

Here is a list of my equipment:

• Radio: Yaesu FT-891.
• Antenna: DIY EFHW, with a 20m, 0.75mm diameter wire and counterpoise, usually in Inverted Vee configuration.
• Pole: 10m fishing rod, usually extended to 7.5 meters.
• Battery: 12.8V 50Ah LiFePO4 Eco-Worthy.
• Antena Tunner: ATU-100 (although I rarely use it).

At home I have a 20/40m dipole, and for the rest I use the same equipment that listed before.
