I have been a licensed amateur radio operator since September 2025. My main transceiver is a Xiegu G90, which gives me plenty of opportunities to explore HF bands despite my limited antenna space.

Alongside transmitting, I also enjoy a lot of shortwave listening (SWL) and monitoring with SDRs, primarily an SDRPlay RSPdx and an Airspy Mini. These tools open up a wide spectrum of signals and keep me constantly learning.

Due to my very small garden, I’m quite restricted when it comes to antennas, so experimenting with compact and efficient solutions has become part of the fun.

My interest in radio began back in the late 1980s and early 1990s with a CB radio, and that early fascination has stayed with me ever since. Finally getting my amateur license has been the next step in a journey that started decades ago.

I look forward to making contacts and continuing to learn from the hobby every day.

Je suis radioamateur licencié depuis septembre 2025. Mon émetteur-récepteur principal est un Xiegu G90, qui me permet de découvrir les bandes HF malgré l’espace très limité dont je dispose pour mes antennes.

En parallèle de l’émission, je pratique également beaucoup l’écoute avec des SDR, principalement un SDRPlay RSPdx et un Airspy Mini. Ces outils me donnent accès à un large spectre de signaux et m’offrent toujours de nouvelles occasions d’apprendre.

Étant donné que je possède un tout petit jardin, mes possibilités en matière d’antennes sont restreintes, ce qui me pousse à expérimenter des solutions compactes et efficaces.

Mon intérêt pour la radio a commencé à la fin des années 1980 et au début des années 1990, grâce à une CB. Cette première découverte m’a marqué, et la passion ne m’a jamais quitté. Obtenir ma licence radioamateur a été l’aboutissement naturel d’un parcours commencé il y a plusieurs décennies.
