First licensed in 1985 I initially operated on 2m, 70cm and 23cm mainly concentrating on tropo, Es, LEO satellites and AX25 packet modes. 

In 1995 I closed the station down due to increasing work commitments and problems with TVI at home. 

Since 2011 I've been occasionally active on HF and 6m using QRP and simple wire antennas, and for the last few years I have mainly been using digital modes (FT4/8 and WSPR) on HF and 6m.

I'm also a very keen listener to all kinds of utility signals on all bands from VLF to UHF.

• ICOM IC-705, Airspy HF+ and RSPdx-R2.
• Dipoles for 15, 12, 10 and 6m
• 5m active vertical for 0-30MHz RX
