Located on a hilltop site above the town of Alexandra, Central Otago.  In an official Outstanding Natural Landscape which is indeed beautiful,  but comes with a regulatory maximum structure height restriction of 6m (e.g. masts).  Some operations from home station and QRO, but primary interest is operating portable from the back-country sometimes QRP, sometimes with up to 50w.

Home station:

• Radio is Kenwood TS440S
• Ameritron AL-811H Amplifier
• 80m dipole in inverted V peaking at 6m orientated N-S
• 40-20-17 fan dipole in inverted V peaking at 6m orientated NE-SW
• 10m vertical

Portable station:

• Radio is Discovery TX500
• Optional solid-state amplifier generating 50w when driven wth 10w from TX500
• Antenna is End Fed 80m half-wave or 40m half-wave / 60m OCFD combo - generally in inverted V on a 6m SOTA-pole
• Optional 10m vertical on SOTA-pole
